Use alternating staccato and legato to get used to adjusting between the two quickly. You can also use this as a range extension exercise and take it higher than my example!
Isolating the 5 main vowels "Ee" "Ay" "Ah" "Oh" and "Oo" can help train your tongue to sing one vowel at a time. This is sung on a 9 note scale, with a vowel change every two notes.
